How does per-kilogram ordering work?

Most of our seafood is sold by weight. Pick the amount you want (for example 500g, 1kg or 2kg) and we cut and pack to order. Whole fish vary naturally, so your pack may differ by around ±5% — we always aim to be at or slightly over the weight you ordered.

Why do prices change day to day?

We buy at the market each morning, so our prices move with the catch. What you see on the site is updated from that morning's market prices — when something is a great buy, you'll find it in Weekly Specials.

How fresh is the seafood?

We hand-select at the Sydney Fish Market and keep everything cold-chain handled from the market floor to your door. If a product isn't up to our standard that day, we simply don't sell it — that's why some items show as sold out.

When will my order arrive?

Order by 10am for same-day delivery across Canberra, or choose click & collect from our Fyshwick Markets counter. Full details are on our Delivery & Pickup page.

How can I pay?

Online we accept all major cards plus Apple Pay and Google Pay through Shopify's secure checkout. At the market counter we take cards and contactless as usual.

Do you supply restaurants and cafes?

Yes — we deliver to kitchens across Canberra on our own refrigerated truck, with market-direct wholesale pricing. Apply for a wholesale account and we'll be in touch within two business days.

What if something isn't right with my order?

Fresh seafood is perishable, so we can't accept change-of-mind returns — but if anything arrives damaged, spoiled or not as described, contact us the same day with a photo and we'll replace or refund it in line with Australian Consumer Law. See our refund policy.
