Delivery & Pickup

Fresh seafood, packed cold and delivered across Canberra the same day you order it — or set aside for pickup at our Fyshwick counter. Here's exactly how it works.

The short version

• Order by 10am and it goes out on that day's run.
• We deliver Thursday to Sunday, between 2pm and 6pm, in one-hour windows you choose at checkout.
• Pickup is Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, also in one-hour windows.
• Order after 10am and you simply pick the next available day — the website works it out, you don't have to.

Where we deliver, and what it costs

Delivery is by postcode, in three zones out from Fyshwick. The exact fee for your address is calculated at checkout — you never have to work it out from a table.

Zone 1 — Inner Canberra

Outside those postcodes, checkout will offer you pickup only. If you're just past the edge and it matters to you, ring us — sometimes we can work something out.

Pickup from the markets

Choose a one-hour window at checkout, Thursday to Sunday between 10am and 5pm, and your order will be packed cold and waiting. Come to the Ghan Bros counter at the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets, 36 Mildura Street, Fyshwick. Bring your order number or just your name.

There's no minimum order for pickup and no fee.

How it travels

Everything is packed on ice in an insulated box and carried in a refrigerated van. Nothing sits in a car boot between drops.

If nobody's home, we'll follow whatever instructions you leave at checkout — but please leave real ones. Seafood on a doorstep in a Canberra summer has a very short life, and a cool spot out of the sun makes a genuine difference.

Weights, and why your total can move slightly

Fish is cut to order and no two fillets weigh exactly the same. Where a product is sold by weight band, what you receive is within about 5% of the band you chose. We weigh at packing and we don't round up.

Changing or cancelling an order

Before 10am on your delivery or pickup day, ring or email us and we'll change or cancel it, no trouble. After 10am the fish is already cut for you, so get in touch and we'll do what we can.

Something not right?

Contact us the same day with your order number and, if you can, a photo. We'd much rather fix it than have you not come back. Our full refund and returns terms are on the refund policy page.
